Short-Term Running Goals:
Get healthy, run pain-free. Have had sciatic nerve issues since 2009, damaged knee cartilage early 2015, so have been a jogger for a while.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Do well in the 50s age group, keep running pain-free.
Married, science writer/editor, enjoy life on the coast of Maine
Got a little peppy, ramped up to 7:03 pace by the end, ran 40:30 total with last 2 miles in ~15:00. Felt a little stressed at times but pretty good at others.
Wimp weights x 2 and a moderate 12-minute row.
Bit more of a trudge than it has been lately, and my headphones conked out at 12 minutes, but still made it for a decent run. At home on the good mill because of weather.

2 hours of doubles tennis after work
Wimp weights x 2 and a 3 mile slog. Right leg is now hurting a lot. Yay.
