At the track while my son had a driving lesson at the HS. Jogged in the 6th lane 5x around, then 8 x 1:00 hard with 1:00 recovery. Much of the hard minutes were down the back stretch into a pretty good breeze, which helped bc it was warm and sunny. Pace started modest (6:45) but gradually increased to between 6:11 and 6:23 for the last 4. Tried to stay relaxed but running faster is still new and still involves too much extra weight on board.

Sch Head after work, warm and slow. PF symptoms worsening :-( Awful that just a few miles a week could do that. I'll lay off the faster running to see if I can resolve it. Sigh.

Legit Aunt Betty with Gareth. Ran slowly up McFarland and 7 Bridges, but last 4 miles were 32:16 total, so a bit more brisk than long(er) runs have been lately. Felt pretty good overall and leg was fine until 7.5ish, but PF was not happy after or next day :-/
