Short-Term Running Goals:
Get healthy, run pain-free. Have had sciatic nerve issues since 2009, damaged knee cartilage early 2015, so have been a jogger for a while.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Do well in the 50s age group, keep running pain-free.
Married, science writer/editor, enjoy life on the coast of Maine
Warm, felt meh, short, but this is the kind of run that will get me to RtB eventually.
Very slow with Gareth around Aunt Betty. Warm evening made it feel a bit more difficult, but 7.5 miles! Progress, progress.
Nice shakeout run in cooler-than-expected sea breeze. Wildlife sighting: porcupine right next to the path.
Ran WHP from HC. Cool fog, warm muggy sun mix. Felt pretty good--legs not tired after a lot of steps and some more intense running yesterday.
